Swansea v Llanelli – Programme Notes

A very warm welcome to St Helen’s for this evening’s final encounter of the season in the Indigo Premiership. Also welcome to all players, supporters and committee of Llanelli on what should be an exciting match tonight. I can’t believe how quickly the season has flashed by and plans are already underway for the big 150th celebration in 2022-2023.

Our visitors today came away from Sardis Road twelve days ago with a battling bonus point against Pontypridd

whilst we pushed Cardiff hard losing by seven points in an entertaining encounter here at St. Helen’s.  Both teams are at the wrong end of the table this season, however both teams will be looking to take the points this evening and a home win tonight will take “The Whites” above Ebbw Vale in the Premiership table.  So for one last time this season make your voice heard to spur the players on. I know the team have really appreciated your support and would like to finish it off with a win.

On Friday May 6th there will be a Players Presentation Dinner.  Although this is last minute, the team would appreciate your support at the event.  The cost, time and guest speaker is yet to be announced but keep your eye on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and the website for more details in the coming days.

As mentioned earlier, “The Patrons & Supporters Club” are now planning for our 150th Anniversary season in 2022-2023.  We will have new stock in the club shop and some exciting announcements to follow during the summer.  We are always looking for more volunteers to help out on match days and if you are interested in joining us, please let me or any of the “Patrons & Supporters Club” know.

Thank you once again for all your support so far this season and let’s hope for another “W” today.
