Swansea supporters will be interested to know that Stephen Hughes, in conjunction with the Rockefeller family in Swansea, is organising a charity match at Mumbles RFC’s Underhill Park ground on Saturday 24th August.
The event, in remembrance of William Hughes and Abie Rockefeller will be raising money jointly for the charities: SWANSEA MIND and SARCOMA UK and will take place from 1:30pm onwards with the match kicking off at 5pm, when a Sweet William Select XV will take on a Rockefeller XV.
The Sweet William Select XV is set to feature several well known former Swansea RFC players so watch out on this website and Swansea RFC social media for future player announcements.
It will be a family event with bar, bouncy castle, BBQ and entertainment and will help raise funds for important charities. So make a note in your Diary and join Stephen and friends at Underhill Park on Saturday 24th August.
