Supporters will possibly have heard the very sad news that Freya, the beautiful daughter of JP and Kath Bevan, has passed away.
Freya was known to many who never met her, due to the extensive fundraising that was active over many different communities, the rugby community included. Her diagnosis and extended treatment for a brain cancer at such a very young age, touched many hearts and brought forth much affection and sympathy as well as positive action to help the family. JP as the Swansea RFC Team Manager, will know that the rugby community at St Helen’s and far beyond, was always rooting for their brave little girl.
We are saddened to hear that Freya has lost the battle with her illness, though she has won many hearts and we will all be thinking of the family at this time and hope that peace will come to their hearts.
