The 2019-20 Welsh Premiership opens the first weekend in September and has a new sponsor.
Swansea RFC will open their campaign in the new INDIGO GROUP PREMIERSHIP against Llanelli at St Helen’s on Saturday 7th September at St Helen’s. Having confounded the critics and climbed well into the safety zone in the latter half of last season, the ‘Whites’ will be looking to consolidate and compete in 2019-20. In a reduced league of 12 clubs it is expected that competition will be fiercer than ever and Swansea RFC are determined to compete and raise the bar again from the impressive scalps taken last term.
The Welsh National Cup also begins in September and Swansea will take on Pontypool in a mouthwatering cup tie at Pontypool Park on 14th September. The Welsh Cup also has a new sponsor and will be sponsored by Specsavers in 2019-20.
