Swansea RFC

Swansea RFC was originally formed in 1872 and was the FIRST ONE of a select band of clubs to have beaten the All Blacks, the Wallabies and the Springboks. The clubs’ many achievements are more thoroughly represented in the extensive ‘History’ section on this website as are the many former players of note in the ‘Past Players’ section. The Club has played at the world famous ground of St Helen’s overlooking Swansea Bay since 1876.

Since 2003, the club has participated in the Principality Welsh Premiership League and is producing young players who progress to the Regional Ospreys squad and Welsh National team. From 2024, the club will compete in the new Super Rygbi Cymru league at the top flight of semi-professional rugby in Wales.
