The jersey of French international Jean Clement worn at the Wales v France match played at St Helens, Swansea on 24th February 1923. Wales won the match 16 – 8. The jersey is now on display at Swansea RFC.

Jean Clement was a notably talented French player from the early ‘twenties. His debut was against Scotland in 1921 and last match against Ireland in 1923. He won 10 French caps, 3 of which were against Wales in 1921,’ 22 and ’23. He played for Racing Club de France and Tarbes but was a Valence player at the time of his 1923 cap v Wales at St Helens. He also palyer at Outside half at club level.
