This is the Swansea squad that toured Cornwall in September 1946. The club defeated Penzance 14-0 (14th), Redruth 7-0 (16th) and Falmouth 25-5 (17th). The Cornish papers referred to Swansea as having provided a ‘delightful exhibition of all round rugby’. The tour was a particularly successful one for Guy Addenbroke who scored a try hat trick against Penzance in front of a 5,000 crowd and scored 2 more tries against Falmouth. (Club Archive)
