Matthew Evans took over the captaincy but following an injury plagued season, fellow flanker Sam Kiley became the regular captain in the 2nd half of the season. The 1st half of the season produced overall disappointing results with only 2 wins in 14 league games. The New Year saw something of a change for the better as in the previous season with initially 4 wins out of 8 and then 4 consecutive league wins to end the season. Swansea achieved the league double over Bedwas. Swansea ended the season in 8th position out of 14 with a record of played 26, won 10, drawn 2 and lost 14 for a total of 58 points, points for 617, points against 576 with 69 tries scored.
Utility back Nicky Thomas ended the season as top scorer with 240 points (18 tries, 34 penalty goals and 24 conversions). Nicky was also top try scorer. Sam Kiley recorded most appearances with 31. There were farewells to Jono Stuart (20 appearances), Gavin Ronan (43), Michael Collins (45) and Tim Evans (110).
