Born in 1935 and a Swansea RFC back-row player during 1960-61 and 1961-62, Idwal played 51 times for the "All Whites" 1st XV before moving to Warrington RLFC in 1963 to play in that position also. He made one appearance for Wales in the Rugby League code while a Warrington player. he moved in later life to Locherbie in Scotland. Idwal Fisher died in January 2012.
