George Einon Bowen played for both Swansea and Llanelli and made 4 appearances as a back for Wales between 1887 and 1888 (all as a Swansea player).
George made his debut for Swansea in November 1883 at Cardiff as a full-back, sometimes moving to three-quarter back. He also played cricket for Glamorgan and later served as Mayor of Kidwelly. He was an official at the Ashburnham tinplate Works at Burry Port.  Bowen was a committee member of the Welsh Football Union and ran the line as touch judge in the Wales v South Africa 1906 international at St Helen's.
