New mini tournament kicks off pre season

·         Pre-season fixtures announced for August 11th, 18th and 25th

·         Mini Festival at Broadacre sees Swansea RFC team up with Dunvant RFC and Mumbles RFC

Ahead of a pivotal season in the Premiership, Swansea RFC are excited to announce this years pre-season fixtures taking place in August.

In a new look pre-season event, rugby action will begin with a mini tournament on Saturday 11th August hosted at Broadacre with Dunvant RFC and Mumbles RFC, which will be made up of three 30-minute games for each team, across two pitches.

The format of the mini tournament will be as follows:

Game 1 – 1:45pm

Pitch 1: Swansea (maroon) vs Swansea (navy)

Game 2 – 2:30pm

Pitch 1: Dunvant vs Swansea (maroon)

Pitch 2: Swansea (navy) vs Mumbles

Game 3 – 3:15pm

Pitch 1: Dunvant vs Swansea (navy)

Pitch 2: Swansea (maroon) vs Mumbles

Game 4 – 4:00pm

Pitch 1: Mumbles vs Dunvant

On Saturday 18th August, the Whites then head to local Championship side Trebanos RFC before a trip to North Wales the following weekend to face RGC 1404 at Llanidloes RFC. Both matches will be a 2:30pm kick off.
