Swansea Women's RFC have opened their 2017-18 campaign with a win over Pontyclun Falcons at St Helen's. A solid 36 - 0 win was recorded over visitors Pontyclun Falcons at home on Sunday.

Back row Robyn Lock got the first score with the reliable Beth Preece converting, but Swansea had to wait for most of the first half to get their account open. they were soon to double the tally as centre Adi Taviner grabbed another and Preece duly converted.

The second half started with a bang and Kerin Lake getting the try that put Swansea comfortably 19 - 0 up. two more tries were grabbed, Amy Price getting the first. By full time the Whites were comfortably ahead by 36 -0.
