Loader to depart The Whites

Swansea RFC would like to confirm that forwards coach Christian Loader has sadly left his position due to work and family commitments.

On his decision to depart the coaching set up, Christian said; "it has been a great honour to coach at the club that served me so well as a player. I've really enjoyed my time helping to get Swansea back into the Premiership and facing the challenges of this season. However ,due to increased work and family commitments, I don't feel that I can dedicate enough time to the role."

Director of Rugby, Richard Lancaster said, "Chris took on the role at a time when Swansea had just been relegated and were in disarray. He has worked hard over the past 2.5 years to drive and improve standards and has certainly left the club in a far better place than he found it. The players and coaches alike will miss Chris as he is a top guy. We all wish him the very best as we know it wasn't an easy decision and I'm sure when things settle down for him we will see him coaching again."
