Former All White passes on

By Terry Morgan (Chairman AWFPA) | 25/11/2015

Swansea RFC was saddened he hear of the recent passing of former All White back-row Terry Robbins.

Born on 28th July 1934 in Merthyr, Terry was a back row forward for Swansea from 1957 to 1959 playing 24 games for the club. He made the move to Rugby league in 1963 joining Bramley RLFC. That same year he was capped for Wales RL against France. After retirement Terry ran pubs for many years in the Leeds area. After his playing days, Terry was very supportive of schools rugby in the Leeds area and while licensee of the Welcome Inn at Tinshill, was very helpful to the West park old Boys club, former West park School pupils who played rugby union rules. Terry passed away on 17th November 2015 aged 81. Our thoughts and sympathies are with his family at this difficult time.
