26 year old winger Darren has had many years’ premiership and regional experience. He was a product of Llanelli’s junior and youth teams before making the Premiership side. His skills then saw him debut for the Scarlets in 2005. Over the next 5 years he scored 21 tries in 49 games for the regional side. Since leaving the Scarlets in 2010 he has played for London Irish, Cornish Pirates and Carmarthen Quins, where he joins us from. Darren also has age grade international honours up to under 21’s and has played for the Welsh Rugby 7’s team.

On Darren joining Swansea RFC, Team Manager Ian Hopkins said “We are delighted to have signed someone of Darren’s experience and ability. He comes to us with a proven background playing for regional and premiership sides and we are looking forward to having a great season with him”.
