Andrew Claypole signs contract for the Whites

Following on from some impressive performances for us at the end of last year we are pleased to announce that Andrew Claypole has signed for Swansea RFC for the 2013/14 season.


Andrew is a former Mumbles RFC player and also plays for Swansea University, including being in the starting 15 for the successful varsity match earlier this year. He Joined Llandovery RFC in the 2011/12 season and played a further 7 games for them last year before moving to Swansea RFC in the latter part of the season.


Ian Hopkins, Team Manager said on the signing “Andrew trained with us several years ago while playing for Mumbles and we have been keeping an eye on his progress ever since. We were very pleased with his performance when he joined us towards the end of last season and look forward to seeing more of him and his attacking abilities this coming season”.
