The Whites, under the new guidence of Head coach Mefin Davies, made a bright start to their pre-season of 2012-13. Swansea's annual presence at the Cwmtawe 7's marked the beginning of a three fixture warm up to the new season. The coaching team included former All White and Welsh international centre Kevin Hopins who joined the former Welsh hooker in coaching the Swansea players on the day.
