ANNUAL DINNER CLOSES SEASON IN STYLE

Guest Speaker Shaun Edwards closed The Whites' 2011-12 Season in fine style at St Helens on Friday 4th May with a simply stated speech on the core values of playing to potential and a frank and open Q & A session to finish off.

The dinner which was beautifully presented my Mark Davies and his team was followed by an introduction by Patron Supporters' Chairman Gerry Lindenburn and Shaun's turn on the Mic. A short raffle was held to top up the season's charity fund (Rhodri Jones Memorial Fund) about which, more from Rev. Pete Orphan shortly.

The only recipient of the Player Awards who was present, was the Players Player of the Year - James Bija who was presented with his award by Shaun Edwards. Dan Baker won the Bernard Cajot Memorial Award for Young Player of the Year. Nicky Thomas was voted the Patron Supporters' Player of the Year. Thanks were also due to the evening's main sponsor Stephen Hughes of Stephen Hughes Jewellers & Diamond Merchants. Team manager Ian Hopkins thanked the players and staff for their efforts through the season and pointed out that a fresh approach was in the wings for the 2012-13 campaign.

With the formalities over, guests were able to relax and enjoy each others company at the end of an eventful season.
