IDWAL FISHER PASSES ON

By Byron Mugford (Hon. Sec.) | 09/01/2012

The Club is sad to announce that former "All Whites" second-row Idwal Fisher has  passed away suddelny.

A swansea RFC player during 1960-61 and 1961-62, Idwal played 51 times for the "All Whites" 1st XV before moving to Warrington RLFC in 1963. He made one appearance for Wales in the Rugby League code while a Warrington player.

Idwal is survived by his wife Peggy (Margret, nee Bennett) and their four children Keith, Andrew,Lynn and Sharon. Idwal and Magret were living with their daughter Sharon in Locherbie, but he kept his interst in the club via the Former Players' Association. Our thoughts are withhis family at this sad time.
