The All Whites Former Players' Association (AWFPA) have been busy re-planning their Dinner which was postponed in May. The Dinner will now take place on Friday 21st October at Swansea RFC in the St Helens Lounge.
Having had many distinguished and entertaining guest speakers before, the Association is proud to announce that the evening's Guest Speaker will be PHIL STEELE.
Phil will be known to many for his broadcasting appearances. A raconteur and after dinner speaker with few peers, Phil has held court at many high profile events such as the Lords Taverners, the RAF, the Round Table, many sports clubs and charity functions. He played senior rugby as a full back for Newport RFC from 1983-84 to 1989-90. He also played for South Glamorgan Inst., Glamorgan Wanderers, Glamorgan County, Welsh Colleges, British Colleges and won a Wales B cap. Aside from his broadcasting duties and the after dinner circuit, Phil also teaches children with learning dificulties in the Rhymney Valley.
The evening will be a chance to renew old aquaintances and make new friends in the rugby family. An excellent dinner will be put on by the Hospitality Company and once the formal side of things and Phil Steele's time at the mic are passed, there'll be plenty of opportunity to catch up with guests from other tables.
Members of the AWFPA who wish to reserve a space at a table on the 21st October should contact the Association on one of the contacts below. The event is always a sell out so members are advised to be prompt with enquiries.
